Anti Ram Raid Bollards - Collinson In the News!

Following the latest epidemic of Ram Raids in the Logan area the local newspaper - Albert and Logan News - decided to run an article helping local Business to help prevent Ram Raiding.

As part of this feature they asked local security experts which services they offer as a deterrent to potential Ram Raiders. And for the security bollards they, of course, turned to Collinson Fencing. Collinson Fencing have been installing stainless steel and concrete bollards for years in both the UK and Australia to help stop ram raiders.

While being named correctly in the article Collinson Fencing was named as Collingwood Fencing in the sources part of the Security Costs box.

Obviously being a Security Bollard company we are a little biased but we think the options proved by Collinson Fencing are the best suited to Ram Raid Prevention. Chris was quoted as saying "A car would smash through but their still a deterrent". That was referring to the cheaper Concrete Bollard option. If the property went for the more expensive Stainless Steel Bollard option then there is a good chance the car would NOT smash through would most probably not even try!

Of the options suggested only the Bollards actually prevent the attack happening. With the CCTV you have a nice video of the front of your property being smashed. With the Fog system the criminals get covered in Fog AFTER smashing the front of your property and with the security Dog the criminals get bitten AFTER smashing the front of your property. These alternative products are great ideas as a whole security package - after all a bollard will never catch a shoplifter like CCTV would - we think Security Bollards are the main option to be considered for Ram Raid Prevention.

To Stop Ram Raiding please contact Collinson - not Collingwood - Fencing today for your free, no obligation quotation.
